Wedding Wednesday

Another Wednesday, another Wedding Wednesday update for you guys. I was busy this last week, let me tell you. When we picked September of this year I somewhat joked that I could pull it all together and better than if we waited until 2024 but the facts can’t be disputed… I truly thrive on a tight deadline! So here’s what we’ve done this week:

-Secured 2 day of coordinators with wedding planner Events by Renee! I do so many of my own events for work and have a very specific vision for our wedding, plus already know many vendors. I decided to forgo a full wedding planner and opt for two day of coordinators so we aren’t having to be a point person day of. I’ve known Renee for many years and have worked with her Party Host Helper team for lots of client events. I admire Renee’s work ethic so I know we will be in good hands with her team members.

Got our florist! I’m excited to have Eilena of Event Loft do our florals. I’ve used her over the years when I used to do my Main Line Fashion Week event and worked with her on some client projects too. She’s always so creative and gets my vision. We’re going to be working on some pretty florals for tables, of course and also our “arbor” to get married under outside

Picked my bridal party, many of them already know but I formally have to ask them still. I’ve been putting together cute boxes to do so that I’ll share with you next week.

-Received our hotel room block for family and friends to stay at The Hotel Dupont

Scheduled hair and makeup for myself and my bridal party. You guys know I love Currie, its my go-to for all beauty so it is super convenient that at our hotel there is a Currie location. I was even more thrilled when I found out Melissa who always does my hair is free that day to do it! Still deciding if we will have it done at the venue, hotel or salon though. Any thoughts on that?
