As promised, here is the cocktail I shared in Chadds Ford JunXion magazine. A little backstory, while I was in Japan in may, we went to the swanky hotel bar on the top floor there was a cocktail listed as the “Kitty”. Due to the language barrier I didn’t know what I was in store for as I had never heard of it before but it turns out I loved it and then later googled it to find out it was a cocktail from the 40s. I put my own spin on it with local wine and Sipps (as the original calls for ginger beer and lime) but it’s super simple!
- 2 ounces Chadds Ford Winery’s The Red Standard red wine
- 1 ounce Sipp Sparkling Organic’s Ginger Blossom
Directions; pour The Red Standard and Ginger Blossom over ice. Garnish with lime wedge.
