The title of this blog post is misleading as truly the formula for a good bar cart is good and variety of alcohol but this is for a well STYLED bar cart! So once you have the alcohol covered there are a few pieces that make a pretty bar cart. My favorites are:
1- Light- God said, “let there be light” so light there will be, even on a bar cart. Add elements of light through a well placed, good smelling candle or even an actual lamp on or next to your bar cart
2- Books- books add interest through color but also give you height so you can stack pieces on them so everything isn’t one level. I stock up on pretty coffee table books through Amazon or Hoemgoods. You can’t beat their prices!
3- Greenery- bring nature in with a pretty plant in a pot like I did here, Jayes Studio makes the best cachepots in different patterns and colors. Use them to hold citrus too to garnish your drinks!
4- Cocktail napkins- I prefer ones with a quirky animal or silly saying. It makes people want to use and saves your furniture! August Morgan & Lettermade have beautiful linen ones, and my friend Molly of The Preppy Hostess has some too! For paper ones I love Toss Designs.
